Hi everyone, I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us studying ,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can help me with algebra ? I have never tried one thus far , but they shouldn't be hard to use I think . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more information about it. I'm in Algebra 1 now, so I've been studying things like matlab nonlinear equation and it's not easy at all.

What is your problem regarding matlab nonlinear equation? Can you give me more details on the problems you have regarding matlab nonlinear equation? I myself had experienced many problems on my algebra tests . I tried hiring a/an math coach to teach me, but it was not cheap. The most convenient way to help you answer your math problems is by using a decent program . Among all algebra programs I encountered , it’s the Algebrator that really helped me. Aside from answering your math problems accurately , it also displays a step-by-step solution that led to the answer. It’s really a fine software to learn from but remember to refrain from copying solutions from the program because it would really not help you if you’d just copy the solutions. Use it just to understand how to solve certain math problems.

I agree, resources on the internet are no better than the course books. Algebrator is a good way to start your math career.

I remember having problems with function domain, hypotenuse-leg similarity and simplifying expressions. Algebrator is a truly great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 2, College Algebra and Algebra 2. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
