Your story sounds familiar to me. Even though I was good in math for many years, when I started Algebra 1 there were a lot of math topics that seemed so complicated . I found out a some software programs that are relevant . I verified them . The Algebrator seemed to be the best suitable one for factoring expressions, like denominators and long division. It was also effortless to work with . It took me step by step towards the answer rather than merely giving the solution. That way I got to learn how to explain the problems too. By the time I was done with it , I had learnt how to crack the problems. I found them useful for Remedial Algebra, Basic Math and Intermediate algebra which assisted me in my math classes. May be, this is just what you need . Why not try this out?
Algebrator is a very incredible software and is certainly worth a try. You will find lot of exciting stuff there. I use it as reference software for my math problems and can say that it has made learning math much more enjoyable.
