I remember having difficulties with roots, ratios and powers. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Intermediate algebra, Remedial Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
