You might want to check out Algebrator. I bought it some time back to help me with my Pre Algebra course and I can say that it was really a good choice . There are so many examples present which you can go through. You can also try out the questions related to unlike denominators and equivalent fractions by just typing them in. Algebrator provides comprehensive description to the problems which helps to make difficult concepts understandable . I would say that this program is absolutely the best that money can buy.

I completely agree, Algebrator is awesome ! I am much better in algebra since I used it, and I have the best grades in the class! It helped me even with the most confusing math problems, like those on multiplying matrices or triangle similarity. I really think you should give it a try .

y-intercept, like denominators and evaluating formulas were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is truly the best math program that I have ever come across. I have used it frequently through several math classes – Pre Algebra, Algebra 1 and Pre Algebra. Just typing in the algebra problem and clicking on Solve, Algebrator generates step-by-step solution to the problem, and my algebra homework would be ready. I highly recommend the program.
