I am going to college now. As math has always been my weakness, I purchased the course books in advance. I am plan on learning a handful of topics before the classes start. Any kind of links would be much appreciated that could help me to start studying solving for y in a negative fraction myself.

Algebrator is a superb software. All I had to do with my difficulties with linear algebra, monomials and mixed numbers was to just type in the problems; click the ‘solve’ and presto, the solution just popped out step-by-step in an easy manner. I have used this to problems in College Algebra, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I would boldly say that this is just the solution for you.
