I was so proud when my son decided to take algebra honors, but I was disheartened when I realized that I could not help him with his homework. I had not taken algebra since high school, and simply did not remember how to complete some of the projects. Algebrator allowed us to go through each step together. As a user of both Algebrator 2.0 and 3.0 I have to say that the difference is incredible. I found the old Algebrator useful, but it was really difficult to enter more complex expression. With your new WYSIWYG interface that problem has been completely eliminated! It's like Word Equation Editor, just simpler. Also, thank you for not using the new new software as an excuse to jack up the price.

Be it Step by Step explanation for an equation or graphical representation, you get it all. I just love to use this due to the flexibility it provides while studying.

I am a parent of an 8th grader:The software itself works amazingly well - just enter an algebraic equation and it will show you step by step how to solve and offer clear, brief explanations, invaluable for checking homework or reviewing a poorly understood concept. The practice test with printable answer key is a great self check with a seemingly endless supply of non-repeating questions. Just keep taking the tests until you get them all right = an A+ in math.
